JOYCE MEYER

"Although your physical body will die someday, your spirit will continue to live for an eternity. Whether your spirit lives in heaven or hell depends on the choices you have made. In this book, best selling author Joyce Meyer outlines God's plan of salvation so that you can make a quality decision."
("The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" Back of the book, 1996-Edition)

"The spiritual part of you can be thought of as the part of you that cannot be seen with the natural eye. This part of you will live forever. And where the spiritual you lives depends on the decision you make as you read this book."
("The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" Page 8, 1996-Edition)

WARNING - DANGER - FALSE TEACHING BELOW

Joyce Meyer, (like Copeland and Hagin) does not believe that Jesus atoned for the sins of God's elect on the cross, but rather the Jesus that they believe in had to go to hell and be tormented there for 3 days to atone for sin.

"During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin...He paid the price there.…no plan was too extreme...Jesus paid on the cross and in hell….God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, “Let Him go.” Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus...He was resurrected from the dead ¾ the first born-again man"
(The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make: A Complete And Thorough Understanding Of What It Means To Be Born Again, 1991, pages 35-36, Joyce Meyer)

In her 1996 edition of "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make" Joyce Meyer states the same things but with different wording.

"When Jesus hung on the cross, He took our sin upon Himself. God cannot stay in the presence of sin. As Jesus took our sin, He was separated from the presence of the Father...Jesus was taking your sins and those of everyone else upon Him as He felt this absence of His Father's presence. He said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" [Matt. 27:46, author's paraphrase] Jesus knew it would happen, but the horror of separation from the bright presence of the Father was worse than He could of imagined, and it caused Him to cry out...and His spirit went to hell because that is where we deserved to go."
(Page 42, 1996-Edition)

"There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place. He became your substitute and took all the punishment you deserve. He bore all your sins. He paid the dept you owe...Jesus went to hell for you. He died for you. He paid for your sins."
(Page 43, 1996-Edition)

Joyce Meyer tells everyone that they have no hope of entering heaven unless they believe the born again Jesus heresy and that the atonement took place in hell.

"He was pronounced guilty on the cross but He paid the price in hell."
Joyce Meyer (What Happened from the Cross to The Throne? audio)

"There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth I am presenting. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place in hell"
Joyce Meyer ("The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make", 1991 pg. 3)

"God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, 'Let Him go.' Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus. He was resurrected from the dead -- the first born-again man"
Joyce Meyer ("The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make", 1991 pg. 36)

"The Bible can't even find any way to explain this. Not really. That's why you've got to get it by revelation. There are no words to explain what I'm telling you. I've got to just trust God that He's putting it into your spirit like He put it into mine."
Joyce Meyer (What Happened from the Cross to The Throne? audio)

Joyce Meyer claims to be without sin:

"I'm going to tell you something folks, I didn't stop sinning until I finally got it through my thick head I wasn't a sinner anymore. And the religious world thinks that's heresy and they want to hang you for it. But the Bible says that I'm righteous and I can't be righteous and be a sinner at the same time. All I was ever taught to say was, 'I'm a poor, miserable sinner.' I am not poor, I am not miserable and I am not a sinner. That is a lie from the pit of hell. That is what I was and if I still am then Jesus died in vain. Amen?"
Joyce Meyer (What Happened from the Cross to The Throne? audio)

"I might as well go and smack Him right in the face if I'm going to go around and feel guilty and condemned. Every time you feel guilty and condemned it's just like slapping Him in the face and saying, You didn't do a good job. You didn't do a complete job. I'm an old rotten this and I'm an old rotten that."
Joyce Meyer (What Happened from the Cross to The Throne? audio)

What does the bible say?
1 John 1:8

If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Apparently angels tell Joyce Meyer what to say

"Now spirits don't have bodies, so we can't see them. Okay? There probably is, I believe there is, and I certainly hope there is several angels up here this morning that are preaching with me. I believe that right before I speak some anointed statement to you, that one of them bends over and says in my ear what I'm supposed to say to you."
Joyce Meyer (Witchcraft & Related Spirits (Part 1) - 2 A-27 Audiotape)

1 Timothy 2:11-12
Let the women learn in silence with all subjection.
But i suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

1 Corinthians 14:34-35
Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church.

Greetings, brother Chris,

May the perfect peace of the Lord Jesus Christ sustain you in these perilous days.

I want to thank you for all your godly efforts in putting together this 'False Teachers Exposed' web-site, for that you do magnify the Living God and seek to warn His elect saints around the world.

Those who are indeed the called-out one's will heed the clarion alarm contained in this web-site, most particularly, they will obey the LORD God for that He first has given us sound warning in His Word, the holy bible. There will be NO excuse on the Day of Judgment.

The rest of the 'world', those without ears to hear nor eyes to see will continue to rave and cling to the dogs who preach falsehood, i.e., the men and women that you've shined the spot-light of truth upon. One can easily imagine the willfully ignorant groaning and shrieking in disapproval when they peruse such a web-site as this. Oh well... at least they've had a witness of the truth.

This site is a remarkable index of reference materials which I'll be happy to refer others to in the days ahead. Alas, there be so few who will heed such a salt and light message.

Even so, the LORD be magnified! It is just as He told us would happen in the latter days.

With love,
